Hi.
I have this old car belongs to a long time friend, I have done more than it's worth to get it through the MOT but now need to get the emissions a little lower on this, tired old girl to get her retested initial failure Co was 1.4 now its down to 0.7 but they reckons it needs to be 0.2 to pass everything is working as it should fitted new plugs fixed air leak flushed engine oil added injector cleaner but we are still not quite there wide band lamdas MAF and temp sensors all seem good, I was looking for a little trick which may help i.e. reducing fuel pressure at regulator restricting air over MAF hot foil, so it thinks its taking in less air than it is, only thing I noticed was MAF 13kpa at idle. I would expect it to be below 10kpa but seems good through the rest of the rev range. I don't think changing internal resistance of temp sensors helps much once it is warm! Any ideas for an easy trick?
