Battery going flat and at the moment it seems when battery monitor wire connected the battery goes flat (discharge appears to be approx 5 amps when vehicle locked). Disconnect monitor wire and discharge approx 20-30 milliamps. Only have Bosch KTS 540 here but if new battery monitor unit required (if) does it require programming/software update etc?
Can Bosch KTS 540 be used in PassThru for this, or is there another PassThru tool which would be better better suited and would also be able to be used for diagnostics using PassThru?
I believe diagnostics is possible with several vehicle manufactures using PassThru device, what is it like please?
Would Actia be a better device or mongoose or another device you recommend.
