E53 cooling fan module transistor

Morning guys

Do somebody know what kind of transistor this should be, or has someone repaired such one?
It is a cooling fan module from E53, 2000 year of production.

BMW X5 E70 4.0D 2010 Vacuum Leak Issue [SOLVED!]

Hi.
I am working on BMW X5 40d 2010 VIN: BAZW62080l476014
It has a vacuum leak, first turbo does not kick in after 3000rmp bigger turbo works.
Am not sure if the vacuum lines are connected right and i was looking for a colored diagram if possible?
I have BMW ISTA but can't seems to find them there.
Any help would be great.

BMW X5 E70 2012 4.0D VTG Fault

Hi there.

I working on X5 with a few fault with VGT.
VIN: L478034
Before i go ahead and have it replace i was wondering if someone can point me in the right direction to see if i've missed anything out.
I've checked all fuses, they seem ok.
I did flash VGT box with ISTA/P and all was ok with flashing.
ISTA/P test plan wont show any fault codes that it recognizes:

004C3C no message set point torque - DRIVE OFF ASSISTANT RECEIVER 0XBB DDE TRANSMITTER.
00CF80 signal from engine management set point - torque request.
005F3A DSC transfer case malfunction.
005F3A transfer box VTG calibration missing.

Any help would be great.

BMW E82 128i 2010 Key Fobs Issue

Costumer came with one key, that key starts the vehicle no problem but can not lock or unlock the doors.
We programmed another key but the same thing happens, you can start the car no problem, but both key fobs don't work.
When using the button on the dashboard the doors lock and unlock.
Where should I start from?

BMW E93 330D Ci 2009 Several DTC's [SOLVED!]

Hi.
Working on a 330D Ci and got a few faults with.
SRS, control systems DBC failure FTM system start assistance, and battery has been changed just make sure that it was not causing any problems.
With car running battery voltage is 14V.
ISTA says:
LIN Bus communication fault
DSC wheel speed sensor left - right
No message vehicle speed DSC ACSM MRS5 DSC
CAS fault road speed signal
Just would like a little help before replacing the ABS pump for to find out if its not the right problem.

BMW 520D F10 2010 NON Start

The problem:
Car doesn't start, no instrument cluster light or radio or AC... the wipers start working and parking brake light on.
Can't connect diagnostic.
Sometimes the crank motor works for 1 sec...
Car have new battery, the starter motor is good.
The video will show the symptoms




The problem might be in CAS or electronic steering lock?

BMW 650i 2012 Air Mass Issue

This car have two codes:

Which am trying to resolve, before that it went to other shop, whereby the MAF was changed and plugs were changed to the the 8 cylinder all got misfired. Yet issue still persist.

The driver side Air Mass no issue, I even swap the passenger air flow to the driver side, and took the driver side to the passenger yet problem still exist, at the passenger get side. I checked the power and earth on the passenger side with DVMeter and it’s good, report 12 Volt.

But I don’t know why this error keep coming and causing the engine to display bad idle and most time all cylinder misfire:

Fault code are:
102001- Air mass, plausibility: Air Mass too high - Intermittent
102002- Air mass, plausibility: Air Mass too low. - Intermittent

The car does misfire on all cylinder too when system become warm.

VIN: WBALZ3C53CDL71806

Petrol, V8. America spec.

BMW E39 530D 2001 ABS Issues

Hi Guys! hi

I would like to ask your advice about your one of old E39. drunk

Some info about the car:

BMW E39 530D 2001 Year, M57(D30) Engine with DDE 4.0 ECU.
But the full information is not important now, I would like to ask in general about the E39 Series (After 1999) ABS Control Unit.

ABS Control Unit is: Bosch 0 265 950 002

As I know, And As I got the information, this series (even 7 Series) got ABS Control Unit Issue. I want to talk about this issue.

The car that I got, it has a ABS Issue now. In the Past got the Rear Right Speed Sensor Problem, but It has fixed but now the problem was coming again, just now the DTC is: 000035 Inlet Valve, Front Right
The DTC is stored in the DSC, It seems I can not delete it, even the car's ABS light works continuously, The car is works with torque intervention! headbang

Before this problem (Last week) the problem was coming ONLY when I did drive with FULL accelerator.
If I was driving gingerly the problem was NOT coming,

I can say that sometimes there were no communication with the ABS (DSC) and Even with the ECU (DDE) also.
But now it seems works fine, There is communication with all ECU's.

The FULL ABS System was checked, I didn't find any problem, even the Live Datas, Looks good.

My questions:

1, The Common & Famous ABS Control Unit Issue can make similar Issues like I have?
2, Can I coding 2nd Hand, Used ABS Control Unit to the car? If yes, How can I do it?
(As I Got the Info from Mr. HestonDiag bow, He was not sure but seems just need to change the VIN (ISTA or INPA) and will work, no need any coding)
3, I'm thinking to open the ABS Control Unit and resolder some of wire. 1st of all I would like to ask your advices, what are the best steps.

BMW E39 523i 1997 Emmission c02 Lamda High

Hi.
I have this old car belongs to a long time friend, I have done more than it's worth to get it through the MOT but now need to get the emissions a little lower on this, tired old girl to get her retested initial failure Co was 1.4 now its down to 0.7 but they reckons it needs to be 0.2 to pass everything is working as it should fitted new plugs fixed air leak flushed engine oil added injector cleaner but we are still not quite there wide band lamdas MAF and temp sensors all seem good, I was looking for a little trick which may help i.e. reducing fuel pressure at regulator restricting air over MAF hot foil, so it thinks its taking in less air than it is, only thing I noticed was MAF 13kpa at idle. I would expect it to be below 10kpa but seems good through the rest of the rev range. I don't think changing internal resistance of temp sensors helps much once it is warm! Any ideas for an easy trick? rock lipssealed headbang devil swear

BMW 550i F10 XDrive Fuse F2 Blowing Issue

2011 BMW 550i F10 with VIN C785210 came to the shop, car was in lime home mode.
Scanned with ISTA and over 50 errors, missing DSC module and some FlexRay controller signaling fault.
Checked the fuses, fuse F2 5A blown, replaced blown fuse and all faults were gone.
Drove the car for 15 min everything was fine, scanned it again to make sure all are fine only one fault code:
1C3204 Engine oil pressure switch, open circuit or switch sticking.
I parked the car on side. Car was parked nobody was touching it.
Around 2x hours later I heard the sound same as when you open a door, then i turned the ignition on and all light were on again and same errors, F2 fuse blown.
What can cause this fuse to blown?

BMW X5 2007 3.0D Lost Power

BMW X5, 2007, 3.0D, RHD.
VIN: WBAFB72000LX83794

Hi.
Not one of mine asking for a friend. The X5 came in to have a oil cooler replaced, came as kit with 3 seals.
After doing the job the car now suffers with lack of power. There is code was mass airflow sensor that got changed.
Do these need coding in?

When you first boot it, it flat. You can wind it up and it will go, but it smokes.
When the oil cooler broke it leaked in to coolant system, that has been cleaned out.
Also he wants to know where the EGR is located and how easy it is to removed?
He is not sure if there is a problem with EGR as he has checked his work over and the guy at another garage a friend of his has checked it over.
Not sure if it coincidence? He was thinking to also try and blank EGR. The oil cooler broke and oil went in to the coolant system.
The car was running fine before it went in.
I'm not been to see the car as of yet.

Now the car does not start, no communication with CAS.

BMW E90 320D Badly Start Overnight

Battery and glow plugs OK.
New fuel filter, changed all hoses under intake manifold. Changed also O-ring from valve of high-pressure pump.
Installed a back pressure valve after fuel filter. Is the only place where are no plastic hoses.
Sorry for my bad english, hope all understand what i mean.

BMW X5 F15 2013 Instrument Cluster Issue

Hi there.

Working on a BMW X5 F15 2013.
VIN: 0G62036
Cluster Part Number: 9339896-01

Car came to me with no cluster working so i decided to remove it and found mileage blocker on it, so removed it all still tho no cluster working.
Checked all fuses found 3 fuses blown in passenger fuse box but am not sure what the 20 amp fuses where for the 5 amp was for cluster power.
So i got a used cluster still the same wont power up if you start car.
Both cluster if you open door or unlock car the cluster LCD display will turn on but there no information.
If you press the button on cluster you can see mileage out side temp etc.
If you do a test with ISTA on cluster it will all wake up all gauges will work.
I have programmed the car to latest version of ISTA.

In ISTA have many faults codes here is a few examples:
- C95403 No Message LCD Brightness Control ACSM RECEIVER
- CD9540 Signal Invalid Kombi

BMW E90 2.0 N43B20A ECU Swap

Hi guys,

Doing ECU swap on above car, no old ECU as it has been fried.
We have another ECU and have matched to CAS with AVDI.
Can anyone tell me the correct ZB number so I can write correct file to ECU?
Hardware number matches which is 7579142 and it's a Siemens MSD 81.2.
Chassis number is: WBAPF52020A501714
Currently the ZB is 7588220 but has errors relating to inlet manifold position and others so pretty sure its wrong.

BMW E91 Vechicle Order File

Any ISTA/P Pro know how to obtain the vehicle order?
Tried programming offline, failed on CAS update.
Car still runs. ABS, steering lock light on, now when try to connect to ISTA/P via AOS portal shows no vehicle order.
Then trying to download it but said cannot download, try loading from media (USB stick) contact tech help.
How do I get data for USB stick?
BMW tech help online are not very helpful or not get what I am needing.
Anyone know how to get the file needed so i can import vehicle order to car?
Any help would be great.
